United Kingdom Prayer Space Data Officer

The Prayer Space Team is responsible for the prayer space locator feature of the Muslimah app. We verify key information using various platforms and regularly review this information. We also update each mosque profile with specific prayer times monthly where possible. It is important to regularly communicate with our mosques to maintain a positive relationship.


Muslimah is expanding globally and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who can be representative for:

Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, London, South East, and South West.


You must be able to communicate in English and will work closely with the Muslimah prayer space team to help ensure that the key prayer space locator feature on the Muslimah app is updated for your region and is of a high standard.


Note these positions are unpaid and designed for individuals looking to add to their portfolio/being part of an emerging organisation focusing on empowering Muslim women and looking to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure that the prayer space information particularly specific prayer times on the Muslimah app is correct and follows the standard format.
  • Update prayer times monthly and upload to the Muslimah admin panel. This information must then be communicated to the relevant team members.
  • Actively ensure information is up to date by doing regular checks as well as actioning user/mosque updates.
  • Keep a record of your progress and report this information regularly to your line manager.
  • Regularly review methods and strategies to improve efficiency and speed.


 

Essential Skills

  • Clear and effective communication. 
  • A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
